2009 Forecast: A Whole New Era!

Please join me in welcoming not just another new year, but a whole new era!

To get a sense of what's ahead in 2009, we first need to understand the fundamental change in consciousness that kicked in on January 1, 2008.

From a numerological perspective, that’s when a major consciousness shift began to really accelerate the process of balancing and integrating our masculine and feminine energies. This process has been evolving for decades, but nothing like now!

Another way of understanding this cosmic shift: finally there’s an urgent evolutionary need to mix our left brain (logic, masculine) with our right brain (intuitive, feminine) thinking. Up till now, right brain thinking has usually had to sit in the passenger seat while the left brain did most of the driving.

While metaphorically the left brain can appear to be clever and at times a brilliant driver, our global highways (major organizing systems) have become so big and complex, without the added support from the right brain’s intuitive navigational system, left brain only thinking is starting to cause many organizations and systems to crash and burn.

It’s becoming increasingly apparent that very few leaders even have a clue how all these complex global systems function. Alan Greenspan recently confessed to Congress that he didn’t see the financial meltdown coming even with all his analytical facts and figures.

Greenspan, like so many other political and business leaders, seems to have made many critical decisions using mostly the left brain. That type of limited thinking won’t get us where we need to go considering the complex problems we’re now facing.

For example, how can we stop all those wealth-sucking wars and end political violence? What incentives can we provide business and political leaders to deter their making decisions based only on short-term gains? What needs to happen to free ourselves from so many rigid belief systems that are miring us in the mud? How are we going to transform our educational and health care systems? How can we reconnect with the harmonious balancing principles of nature?

A few years ago, just asking these type of questions would have been ridiculous, but now were seeing a rapidly emerging critical mass waking up ready to face these and other challenges head on. At last, we’re starting to explore alternative creative opportunities. What an exciting time to be alive and participating in this global transformation!

I said last year that 2008 could be one of most significant turning points in human history. Why? That’s when we experienced the first numerological One Universal Year (2008 added and reduced to 1) in this new “Two” century. It began to shift our awareness from a “One” masculine-dominated era into a more inclusive “Two” (first number most important) magnetic feminine energy frequency. The last One Universal Year took place back in 1999…and not in this “Two” century! That’s why last year was such a significant historical turning point.

We began to see the manifestation of this new energy shift when Barack Obama unexpectedly won the Iowa caucus on January 3, 2008. His historic win set the tone for this new era we’re now entering. His entire campaign symbolized this energy shift. Even the global financial meltdown played a major role in his election victory. And there was that memorable line in “Slumdog Millionaire” …maybe “it was was written” after all.

There will be amazing creative opportunities throughout 2009. For those ready to fully embrace this time of change, it will feel like a creative renaissance. Of course, it depends largely on our attitudes and individual and collective choices. In any event, this new high frequency creative energy will be there for anyone and everyone to tap into.

With all the anticipation attending a new administration taking power, everyone is hoping to see some immediate results. However, a “Two” year is a slower pace vibration. Seeds planted in 2008 need time to germinate and slowly take root.

Much of the really innovative options probably won’t begin to surface until later in the year as we move closer to the more creative “Three Year” of 2010. Obama’s chart shows he’s still in his personal “Four” foundation building year that continues to his August birthday. After that, he’ll be more opened to explore new options driven by his “Five Year” of unexpected change and opportunity.

On the other hand, peace and significant new diplomatic opportunities could take center stage all through this year… even in the Middle East. Although now that Israel has launched ground offensives into Gaza, this appears unlikely- at least for the moment. However, the “Two Year” is more about diplomacy and peace than war and aggression. We’ll have to wait and see how this plays out.

One of my predictions last year as we entered this new era of harmony and cooperation, was that the State Department could become more powerful than the Defense Department. How ironic that Hillary Clinton was chosen to lead this department. I’m sure she’ll be ready for all those 3 a.m. calls from Barack!

If George Bush was a decider type, Barack Obama will usher in a new type of leadership that could have a ripple effect around the world. Based on his personal numerological chart, he could institute more of his group facilitation management skills rather than going it alone like Bush and many big company CEOs chose to do.

During this new era, the wisdom of groups replaces independent leadership. Organized groups that elected Obama could be a preview of what will begin to happen everywhere…even in companies and organizations… including Apple.

The lesson we are all learning now is that instead of me,
it’s more about we.

I’ve been using numerology since 1974, always with amazement and wonder. October 2008: A Peak Into The Future!

If numerology told us that September brought the long masculine dominated era to a climatic end, then October should preview the incoming feminine energy cycle. I’ve been talking about this all year on this blog. I think this change will be unlike anything we’ve ever experienced in our lifetime...no kidding!

Pay close attention, take notes throughout the month…they could prove to be really valuable to you, your family and friends in the future. October is a month long glimpse of what officially starts full time in January (a 2 year). Each year, October previews the upcoming year…just look what happened in the financial sector since last October. We were given hints of the current economic plunge last fall. But this time, it’s a preview of a whole new era coming very soon…not just an another new year preview. That’s why this month is so significant.

The male dynamic energy that’s getting ready to switch roles with it’s counterpart female magnetic energy, has lead the way to building many great empires, shaped modern civilization and created great wealth (but also great poverty), created new technological wonders (and weapons designed to kill) as well as magnificent cities around the world.

But on the flip side of all this positive dynamic male energy manifestation, history has also recorded too much bloody carnages from too many insane wars, Many of them driven by the naked desire for more power or wealth grabbing. All this dynamic action has had devastating effect to our planet’s life sustaining eco systems.

This gentle new energy flow may finally give peace a chance. More and more of us are waking up to the fact that we’re all flying around in space in the same spaceship we call planet earth.

Community should have a whole new meaning sooner than we think.

Changing of the Guard Month!

2008 has been a very strange year because it is the FIRST 1 universal year of this century that allows more of this this feminine to take charge. This new energy was sorta stuck in the male dominated last century energy cycle till this one year arrived in 2008 because the last 1 year was in 1999.. the last century!

This may be why Gore. who probably really won in 2000, couldn't take office because of that old energy was still in charge and blocked the new energy flow that he represented (although a lot more now than back then). And if you look at everything else that has happened since 2000 (including: 9/11, Iraq, Hurricane Katrina other massive earth changes and now Ike, even all the financial institutional failures this past year has been part of this transition). From an energy perspective, if you've been in charge for thousand of years or more, would you really step aside and let a new energy force take your place? (Obama is a good example of this softer energy shift) Hell no, you would fight like crazy to hold on to your long held power position!

Now you can see why September is so significant. It's a 1 year ushering in the new feminine energy but we're still in a 1 month....so these expect two energy forces to collide all month.
The male dominated financial markets have been at the effect all year...and should peak this Thursday, September 18. being a 1 day in a 1 month in a 1 year.

October should preview of a new cooperative alignment in all aspects of our society when new structures
of all kinds will begin to emerge.

September: The Beginning of the End Cycle

At the start of this blog back in January, I said 2008 was going to a major transition year… shifting from a thousand year long male energy vibration cycle to new feminine energy cycle.

September, being a one-month in a one-year. One representing that male energy, this month could bring about a grand climax of that masculine energy that has dominated our planet for so long.

How interesting that two very strong masculine energy symbols arrived on the scene like roaring like lions or Alaskan moose (do moose roar?) at the start of this month: Hurricane Ike and Hurricane Sarah. Like all Hurricanes, they eventually blow themselves out shortly after hitting land but of course often leave behind a path of mass destruction. Let’s wait and see what happens this time…physically and politically.

My view of McCain’s VP pick is that Palin was the right gender at the right time but she represents the flip side of the emerging positive feminine energy potential…offering a lot of cynical and arrogant views about real needs and concerns of our world community, especially concerning environmental and social issues.

Her stand up comic one-liners could soon become very stale and even sound irrelevant by the time October rolls in. October will be a two-month and be a mini preview of this new transformative feminine energy that really takes root next year.

What’s fascinating is both McCain and Obama have the same numerology two life purpose! So after everything is said and done in this election, both of them have an inner need to support this new energy at its highest frequency. I would love to know what McCain REALLY thinks about what Sara is saying on the campaign trail.

Watch very closely all current events this month and in October. They could be valuable clues that will take place in the months and years ahead. For example, is there a deeper meaning to the Feds taking over Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae? I think so, and will explain why in future posting... you may be surprised!

Pre-Convention Update

Here we are just a week before the Democrats meet in Denver and McCain is feeling his oats! With his best performance ever at Rev. Warren’s Faith Forum, Barack should feel blessed that it’s still only August and Saturday night wasn’t the actual October debate night. Even though it wasn’t meant to be a real debate...now however, there’s a real one going on within the media regarding the question of McCain not honoring the Cone of Silence agreement, and may have listened to some of the questions that Barack was being asked. This doesn’t much matter now because, a win is a win and the perception is that McCain won the night big time by being a lot more aggressive and showed much more passion about his views than intellectual Professor Obama.

As I was watching, I began to think McCain was like a Bush and Cheney rolled up in in a single body. McCain doesn’t have to be the decider, seems like he’s already made up his mind about everything you can imagine. It was an amazing display of shoot from the hip self confidence! Look out Russia, Iran and who knows who else when this Commander In Chief takes charge.

However, when McCain moves into his much slower two year pace on his August 29 birthday, his campaign begins to slow down. Then for the next nine months or so, he will feel like he’s moving inside a slow motion movie...making it a lot more difficult for him to be as aggressive as he has been over his past one year. Remember, Obama began to overtake Hillary when she moved into her two personal month last February. A one year is all about planting seeds, a two year is about letting those seeds take root...not a great time to run for president.  
On the other hand, Obama moved into his more down to earth four year on his August 4th birthday. Those inspirational hope speeches will now be grounded with a lot more facts and figures. From here on out, every campaign strategy and tactic will be more realistic and pragmatic (even more so than before), including picking his VP choice. Perhaps some of the Idealistic short list VP favorites may have already been pushed aside in favor of a more meat and potato type candidate who can really deliver the goods.

What about Hillary? August is a mix bag month for her. On one hand, she’s in her powerful eight ( l love what the Olympics have done for numerology! ) month in August, but still finishing her nine year of completion cycle. Emotionally, there may be an urge for her to go all out at Denver and make it all about her and her campaign achievements, but if she tries to make her speech too personal, the reaction may create her desired cathartic release, but that’s about all. My advice to Hillary is this: your time for planting new life cycle seeds begins Oct 27, not now.

Bill Clinton starts his one year on August 19, His convention speech gives him a great opportunity to turn a new page. It will bb fascinating to see how he does it...especially getting off the emotional roller coaster ride he has been on this past year.

Hillary’s Nine Year Numerology Lesson

In numerology, every number has an inherent full range of positive and negative attributes that are activated with subconscious thoughts and actions. Events happen, it’s our personal reactions to them that cause us to feel either happy or not. For example, two different people can have totally opposite reactions watching the same movie. Life events are no different.  
Every year cycle can be a positive growth experience, but with different challenges and opportunities. Observing how Barack and Hillary reacted to their numerology month and year cycles has been a tremendous learning opportunity, especially since their campaign battle went on for so long.

Hillary (in her nine year cycle) has taught us what happens when you try to personalize a nine year…putting more focus on your own needs (her constant use of I instead of we) and desires than those of others. it just didn’t work, even though she was relentless and never gave up. She tried everything including throwing in the kitchen sink just to see if anything would stick. After a while, i and many other people thought she would do anything to win. Just not the right approach being in a nine year...sorry Hillary. At the start of her one year in October, it will be all about her but not now.  
Ironically by her staying in the race all these months, Hillary made Barack a much stronger candidate than he was. So, she did fulfill the altruistic wishes of a nine year of serving others. Let’s only hope she’s able to stand back sometime and acknowledge her valuable contributions, especially if it helps Barack be elected. She deserves to experience this essence. This is also a good example how numerology works below our awareness.

Often after chart readings, people ask me for advice on learning numerology, my answer is that the first thing to do to stay in touch with your gut feelings...if you do, the numbers will take care of everything else.

I often wonder what if Hillary didn’t have a Mark Penn around during key junction points in her campaign to cloud her own instinctive intelligence.

And imagine her campaign cost savings!

What to Expect In May....

If Barack Obama ever studies numerology, he’ll look back at April (his seven month) and understand why many numerologist say the letters for seven mean exactly what they spell: GYP.   In numerology, seven is considered to be the number of fate, (JFK’s numerology destiny number was 7) a period when things seem to have a mind of their own. Seven is all about the subjective world...real power during seven cycles is on inner dimensions. Forcing things in the outside world usually backfires during this cycle. Seven is considered to be a metaphysical and spiritual number. Positive thinking helps getting through this period in one piece...and a lot of praying also helps! Even though many political pros thought Barack should have been more aggressive during April, when he did become more negative, it just didn’t seem to work.

Just look what seven brought into Obama’s life during April: Rev. Wright’s sound bite loop continued to dominate his campaign and by end of month, Rev. Wright was back on center stage, but this time speaking in DC just a few blocks from the White House. In addition, Barack’s bitter remark transcript became another hot issue and ABC’s did their unexpected trivia themed presidential debate directed mostly at Obama.

But on the positive side of seven, as I’m typing this, CNN is reporting on this final day in April that insiders are saying that a majority of Congressional Superdelegates have already decided in back Barack. So with so many things going against him, he’s still winning...that’s a seven cycle for you. In fact, sometimes opportunities are handed to you on a silver platter during seven cycles. Rev. Wright’s ranting gave Barack a perfect opportunity to separate from him in a way that really appeared to be a justified.

Last month, I said, Hillary would have a rough restructuring month...well she did let go of Mark Penn (classic 4 cycle action step) but otherwise, she seemed to have a great winning month, except for adding significant more delegates.

At the moment, the bottom line at the end of the month is that her numbers still don’t up add up. Perhaps in her mind, she’s already let go, and now she’s just waiting for the right time to drop out. Maybe she’s now just is laying a foundation for a future run. Could this explain why she seems happier and more relaxed?   Of course all bets are off if she wins both Indiana and North Carolina. However, it won’t be as easy as April was for her...because Barack moves into his powerful eight payoff month. Expect his energy to return as his campaign gets back into high gear and positive press.

Because eight brings things to a head, we should know by the end of the end of May. if not before, who will will head the ticket.

Somebody should wake up the fat lady waiting to sing who’s been sleeping in the wings for months. it’s been long but the real one hasn’t even started!

April Showers

That’s what this month is going to feel like for Hillary as she moves into her down to earth restructuring 4 month in a 9 year of completion. She’s going to need all the umbrellas available to survive the downpour that will force her campaign into retreat. The main focus for her will be dealing with basic needs just to keep here campaign alive.

Barack is in his 7 reflective month where events will seem to have a mind of their own.
His payoff month should be May.

Weird Spitzer, Clinton Timing Connection?

Numerology has taught me to pay close attention to symbolic events. Numbers are symbols of events, places and energy fields.

Last fall, I was very curious to see what effect the start of Hillary Clinton’s nine personal year (October 26 birthday) would have on her campaign. While in her eight year, she proved to be the almost perfect candidate.

Well, I didn’t have to wait very long. I watched her make her first stumble in the Philly debate… just a few days after her birthday!

That was the debate where she labored to defend Gov. Spitzer’s plan to give drivers licenses to illegal immigrants. Because up till then every word she said was so calculated and almost perfectly precise… but that unlikely slip raised a red flag in my mind. Was she subconsciously looking for the exit, just as Sen. Kerry fumbled on a joke line that pulled him out of the race even before it even began? Research studies have proven that our subconscious mind is the real decision maker… before we are even aware of them.

It was from that moment that Hillary’s campaign started to slide downhill…even though she proved to be a tenacious fighter every inch of the way (but maybe not aware of her subconscious desire to quit race?).

Now after all these months of hanging on and coming back several times, how ironic that the day after Barack regained his delegate momentum three more significant “symbolic” events happened that could make Hillary’s comeback even more difficult: Gov. Spitzer resigned over another DC sex scandal, triggering flashbacks of Monica and Bill’s sex scandal; Geraldine Ferraro resigned from the Clinton campaign; and Keith Olbermann delivered blistering editorial comment imploring Clinton to take back control of her campaign.

We’ll have to wait and see if this is the final chapter or whether Hillary will make yet another dramatic comeback…I would be really surprised if she can while in her nine completion year.

It’s March, What’s Up?

One of the fascinating things about numerology is that odd numbers are more creative than even numbers. Even numbers are more conservative and down to earth. Political campaigns succeed to a large degree the creativity of their advertising and promotions.

Last month, Barack Obama capitalized on being in his expansive creative five month, which was perfect timing for his campaign. In February he not only won nine states but also accumulated a huge and historical sum of 55 million dollars with his highly sophisticated internet fund raising campaign.

Now with the arrival of March, Hillary has been pulled out of her very passive two month of February into a much more creative expansive three month. With her appearances on SNL on March 1st and on John Stewart’s Daily Show on election eve, plus with her some what creative kitchen sink strategy (throw everything at once and see what sticks), she’s back in the running…or at least dominating the media more than Obama.

Her “creative” media advantage will continue throughout March. Although three being a very emotional number, at times causes this creative energy to scatter, so expect some very intense emotional displays in the media from Hillary.

Will her kitchen sink strategy work or grow thin? We’ll find out, but looking ahead to April, it doesn’t look like it will.

During March, things should settle down for Obama as he moves into his six month of adjustment. March actually may bring a lot more superdelegate support his way because six in numerology represents security and family support. And with Hillary now supporting John McCain over Obama, this may actually backfire and attract more democratic family support to his camp.

In summary, March will see Hillary in the media spotlight more than Barack. However in April all that changes… just weeks before the all important Pennsylvania primary! More to come…
